Plot Summary:
“Pill” is set in Punjab’s Patiala and later moves to Delhi. The story revolves around Brahma Gill (Pawan Malhotra), who runs a pharmaceutical company with zero regard for regulations. He manufactures medicines without proper approvals and conducts illegal clinical trials. Corrupt officials support him in this, turning a blind eye to his illegal activities.
Behind Brahma Gill is the Chief Minister, Dilbagh, who plans to marry his daughter Kirat to Gill’s son Ekam, providing a strong political backing to his actions. To further his schemes, Gill allies with Basudev, an experienced player in the world of corruption. Ashish Khanna, working in the research wing of Gill’s company, begins to uncover the shady dealings and starts gathering evidence.
The company manufactures a new medicine for diabetic patients and tests it on poor people living in Seelampur near Delhi, leading to several of them falling seriously ill.
